When I go to the beach, I can’t help but look down. I remind myself to look up at the view and not just listen to the sound of the water as it splashes into the sandy parts of the shore and clatters against the rockier parts.

My dad saw a whale swim by one time when he and my nephew were visiting the playground at our local beach. Someone spotted the whale and shouted to everyone else to look. If something important happens, the other beachgoers will let me know.

The stuff I find here is more “craft grade” sea glass, as opposed to “jewelry grade,” but I still think it’s pretty cool.

I like to go to the little beach in my suburb and look for glass. Sometimes I don’t find any, but usually I find at least one piece. The most common color is brown, then…
