You may already know that eSportStars is the first distributed application from TimeTicket designed to promote eSports, and today we would like to tell you about it.

We believe that eSports is a contemporary type of sports. Before our eyes this industry is becoming less of a niche geek entertainment and more of a mainstream hobby.

Video Game tournaments have become mass events that garner the attention of millions of people. Esports has been officially recognized in China, South Korea, Malaysia, USA and a number of other countries. For example, China has a government program aimed at developing eSports.

Korea has made eSports a second-level olympic sport, placing it in the same league with chess. In the US cyber athletes get scholarships, and campus eSports teams get the same benefits as football players. More importantly, many experts believe that cyber athletes have a better shot at life, thanks to their sharpened cognitive skills and multitasking. Esports is a good breeding ground for future entrepreneurs and leaders.

At TimeTicketProtocol we get behind this statement and put effort into developing this direction, helping with organizing tournaments. Learn more about our initiative at the eSportStars website.
