In the previous post we mentioned that the website and White Paper of our project have been updated, and today we would like to go into more detail about our decision to back off from using the EOS blockchain and instead implement our project on Ethereum. In today’s post we will explain our reasoning behind this decision! As a matter of fact, here are the two main points:

1) User convenience. We realize that ETH has higher adoption and popularity all over the world (after all, it is the second most popular cryptocurrency after Bitcoin). Using ETH will be more financially viable for our users since creating an ETH transaction gas cost is minimal, while EOS will set you back $5 for making an address.

2) Development speed. We have reasons to believe that the switch to ETH will positively affect the speed of development. Thanks to the popularity of this blockchain, we will have an easier time finding both engineers as well as various development frameworks on Ethereum.

Another point we had to take into account was that we are considering an IEO in Japan — and the Japanese FSA does not allow us to run an IEO as long as we are using an EOS-based cryptocurrency.

We have previously talked about the advantages of EOS and one of the main has always been its transaction speed, which Ethereum does not have.

However, ETH off-chain technologies and case studies are getting more advanced, the benefit we receive by using EOS is very limited.

Based on the reasons above we have made the decision to switch to Ethereum!
