Over the weekend, I decided to give the tips that I have found from my sources a go. These tips were ways to make your life easier by getting things done in a timely manner, or getting things done ahead of time. The tips that I followed were realizing my deadlines, turning off my distractions, checking my agenda to see what I need to get done a certain day or if I can wait and do work the next day, got all the help I needed, and set goals for myself. All of these things helped me because it helped prioritize what I needed to get done immediately, and helped me stop stressing out about these things and can get it done another time. This really helped me because instead of having a whole bunch of things to complete in one day, I only had to do one homework assignment when Sunday came along. I have improved on this skill a little bit and I know this because usually I tend to procrastinate everything I do, and this time I didn’t do that. This felt really good because I wasn’t as stressed, I did better on my homework since I wasn’t rushed, and I got all my homework done. This skill is something you should be doing every single day. To continue practicing this soft skill I will use the tips I have found and other resources to apply it to my everyday life, not just when it comes to homework.
