Dev blog 8: Tank Boss improvements!
I said this a week ago, and I will say it again. We actually listen to the community’s feedback, and we add all the good suggestions into the development roadmap with a view to adding the suggestions over time.
Well, you Beta Testers pointed out that the Tank Boss needed some improvements, and, again, we listened!
The Boss Tank battle improvements are yet again a little more classic “Boss Battle” that one expects, with 3 nice distinct waves to defeat, each getting more challenging, forcing you the have to change strategy mid-battle to get past the next wave.
The Boss Tank arena is a lovely open area, so we were able to include waves of enemies accompanying the Tank, as well as some nice places for the Raiders to take cover (which is a must!).
For the Boss Tank battle, you quickly realise that you need HEAVY WEAPONS to do proper damage. Thankfully there is some on the scene, but to get there, you have to fight past additional enemies.
But once you have it, you get to start the wave battle. With each successive hit on the Tank, the Tank begins to change tactics and attack against you. So you’re going to really have to be quick and think on your feet. Look for whatever advantages you can whilst you’re in the midst of the battle. Think in 3D, and we’re sure that you’ll figure out this wonderfully enjoyable but deadly puzzle!

As always, I like to mention another INO NFT that is coming in the next live beta build.
Have I mentioned that some of the NFTs come from other time periods?! Have you got yourself your very own pet Pterodactyl? In the WWII era, this baby swoops in and drops valuable (and often much needed!) health pickups in the midst of the fray. Perfect help in your time of need! And when the Prehistoric levels are available, your little flying dinosaur baby will become a most FORMIDABLE attack help, swooping in on the enemy when you call him. EEEK EEEK!
