My poor world so full of hurt and pain,

Any expression affection just gets lost in vain,

It’s eyes veiled in mistrust and hollow promises ,

Superficial friendships and laughter. and profound shallowness,

Too insecure to believe in love or faith,

Seems so wounded with such unsteady gait..

Shattered morals and confused priorities,

No peace , no stolidity, just constant stress, an obnoxious amount of strain

Carrying on with a sense of false pride , accomplishment and gain..

I think ,I. somehow,bond better with animals now ,

A simple feeling of affection, reciprocated by same..

No complaints, distrust,complications or vulgarity,

Just a simple bond of trust and friendship,

Companionship and solidarity..
