A frame from Tangled — I See the Light

Ideas come and ideas go

they sail in the void inbetween

for us to reach out to

as we grapple at the blue sky

to catch hold of some

.

They are found by those

who believe they exist

Ideation

is a lot like magic.

.

The ideas dancing before me

are remains of things

I have seen, read, experienced

They tease my memory

as I catch a wisp

the end of a tail or a whisker

and bring it before me.

.

It’s not a flame

instead, a spark

awaiting another

.

You add some sugar

to my spice

it’s alighting all right

She who can mould forms

adds a lampshade to our flame

He who knows his colours

paints the lantern in motifs

familiar to those

who may use this light.

.

The mighty authors say

great ideas don’t make

great books

.

It’s when it all

comes together

as a greater whole

That’s when

the magic unfolds.

.

Come, ideate with me.
