Am I a robot?

I don’t know if it is the new tesla car or just the enormous amount of times I read the word Artificial Inteligellence AI but I have been thinking a lot about how much humans need technology these days. Being around STEM professionals for the last 7 years of my life also made me think about it and how humans interact with it.
Learning about the existence of this gadget was shocking to me 😳, I never thought that medicine was so advance to make that huge bulky IV infuser from hospitals to something so small and portable. In all of that thinking, I tough my particular case and it hit me, 😲 I’m going to be half-robot! 😲 Well not exactly half, but a really big part of my function of being a human being was depending in an electronic device.
Am I a real human if I need something like this? The fundamentals that we all saw on biology don’t really tell me that I’m not a human, but I think I’m not totally alive and I think I can explain that.
The science
Vital sings are a group of the four to six most important medical signs that indicate the status of the body’s vital (life-sustaining) functions. These measurements are taken to help assess the general physical health of a person, give clues to possible diseases, and show progress toward recovery. -Wikipedia
These vital signs are
- Body temperature
- Heart rate or Pulse
- Respiratory rate
- Blood pressure
My body can’t function to 100% in a really basic manner, is not the same, for example, with a bionic hand because you can live without a hand but you can’t live without a heart and do “human stuff”.
Looking into the research I made about this topic many doctors and philosophers are sure what is going to happen when electronic kidneys or stomachs come alive with the help of technology but preserving the human race will always be on top of any theoretical ideology of the being. 🔎

In conclusion, I don’t mind being half-robot/ half-human, I think it is kind of cool 😊 😊
