Can astrology predict love?

yes, and even more. Which kind of love? Lust, attraction, attachment?

Yes, astrology can be used to predict love. A thorough understanding of the archetypes and of technical modalities is required, though.

But astrology can do even more than the trivial “day X is great for dating and meeting your significant other”, which as lame as it sounds, I use it for those few days a year when it’s applicable. And yes, there are days when it’s an appropriate interpretation (like Venus-Mars conjunctions, trines or sextiles) — by the way, one of those days is later in September.

What astrology can do is predict which kind of love.

Even, it may not use the over-used word “love” which sometimes we attribute for either of the three phases identified by Dr. Helen Fisher at Rutgers University, specifically: lust, attraction and attachment, but even show which of the three phases are likely to be triggered by a specific aspect.

Pop culture astrology— the one everybody thinks they know — which is largely Sun Sign astrology, uses overwhelmingly the Venus-Mars relationship to talk about love. What kind of love? any kind. Is the Venus-Mars archetypal bond relevant to all kinds of love? Or at least to the three types described by Dr Helen Fisher? The answer is no. Not all of them.
