Tension filled the air as the players prepared for their appearance on the Olympic court. Taylor Swift blasted in Abby’s earphones to calm her nerves.
Naomi, on the other side of the locker room, was frantically searching for her spare racket. A string had suddenly broken while she was checking on her equipment.
“Where’s my duffel bag?” Naomi stammered. Searching high and low, she couldn’t believe this was happening. As Naomi turned around, Abby stood there with a racket in her hand.
“Here, use mine. I still need my challenging opponent to play with,” Abby gestured with a wide grin.
