First and foremost Tipsy is a fully functioning, very secure, Discord- and Twitter-based crypto hot wallet with a number of interesting payment functions built in for you to enjoy. You can send payments directly to others, “rain” payments onto multiple users in a wide variety of ways, contribute toward a community crowd fund, offer up bounties for positive community actions, or even bury your funds in a treasure chest for a very rewarding game of hide and seek… Or not! Whatever. Scrooge!

Currently, Tipsy v2.5 is split into 4 bots handling 4 different coins sitting only in their official coin Discord servers. Later this year Tipsy v3.0 will be released as a single bot with an ever expanding array of coins and multi-server capabilities as well as full command support for Twitter. This means far more exposure to even more communities for all coins involved! The new system will also launch with support for BTC, DOGE, DASH, LTC, XLM, and XRP along side the 3 alts that helped start it all: Litecoin Cash (LCC), Lynx Blockchain (LYNX), and Xavander Coin (XCZM) plus a unique new concept called Ring (RNG).

In all of history I have yet to see a better motivator of human action than money so crypto just fits right into place here. With Tipsy, admins have a variety of positive reinforcement tools at their disposal to encourage more member activity utilizing the coin itself as a reward! Not only that, but there are also tools for setting up donation campaigns to crowdsource funds for use in efforts such as exchange listings, explorer hosting, and other services that benefit everyone. The only limit is your imagination with how creatively you can employ these tools to engage your community and keep them coming back for more!
Tipsy also features a host of Admin and Mod level commands to aid in updating settings, adjusting user accounts, managing the chatrooms, creating fund campaigns, and more! Strap in hoss, we have only begun to scratch the surface here! Tipsy is far more than just a crypto wallet and payment system! She is also a delightfully interactive, albeit somewhat sarcastic, community liaison with a growing array of ways to spark member activity and help keep the place flourishing and alive with traffic. From rain parties and air drops to jokes and puns, there’s public crowdfunding and bounty hunting, digging for buried treasure, and even low wager games of chance with some future peer-to-peer games of skill in development. Utilizing these tools during large online events can really help draw attendance. There can definitely be some real appeal to show up and participate to be active and earn your share!

On top of all that activity there’s a key feature that ties the entire experience together much like an RPG video game… The Experience Points (XP) system! Just for chatting, raining, playing games, or doing anything that benefits others and increases community activity, you are are awarded XP. When you earn enough points your level will increase. At certain levels you will gain new ranks and more features of the bot open up to you including access to more games, higher tiered rain rewards, and longer active times.
This system allows community admins to lock certain activities behind level walls forcing a moderate amount of interaction before members can really dive in. This is extremely useful for weeding out bot/spam accounts and lazy moochers who just want to leech rains and not contribute back. There are a few other methods in place for filtering those as well but I’ll save that discussion for another article.
🍾😉💸 BOUNTY/REWARD SERVING…
One of the most useful community building tools is an ability to instantly reward and pay members for outstanding behavior and exemplary work. Things like helping out with media and graphics, or writing an article, possibly defending the coin on a thread from FUDsters, or even stepping up and helping test bugs on the chain. With Tipsy you can instantly reward these community rock stars while letting the rest of the community see what they could be achieving through a little more effort!
There’s another large audience incentive method that really works well and that is the rain party! Essentially you get a large group of active members on at once and you declare something along the lines of “Please go vote for our coin in That Exchange’s contest! When we reach 100 votes, we will rain 100 coins! At 200 votes, we rain 200 coins! Etc…” And just watch the people spring into action to get their friends helping and upvoting so the team will rain down those beautiful free coins!

Tipsy strives to be THE community liaison, working to not only bring people within each coin community closer but the coin communities themselves a bit closer as a whole through the magic of sharing relevant information! “Oooh ahhh!” A wonderful advantage of Tipsy’s meticulous cultivation of resources is that she provides a handy, centralized, easy to locate hub of all relevant information and happenings for each of her supported coins. Plus she now broadcasts major events and fun happenings to her ever growing Twitter audience! Admins can even subscribe their Discord server to Tipsy’s twitter feed while filtering what they want to show up. The idea being that each of the communities will be able to easily spread their word to a much broader audience a bit less intrusively without appearing too “spammy.”

So the original plan has always been to reach out beyond Discord to other social media platforms, and it has finally started to sprout from the dirt. I’m currently developing both the Twitter integration side as well as the multi-server, multi-coin, multi-platform, enterprise level Tipsy v3.0 that will one day hopefully be in everyone’s crypto toolbox. Also I’m one person (don’t forget to donate! Wink!). The point being that very soon, possibly even already by the time you read this article, the entire world will have access to Tipsy via Twitter. In the beginning, however, the access will be very limited and will mostly be a method of driving more traffic to the official coin Discord channels. When Tipsy v3.0 is released later this year, the gloves will be off and Twitter will have a full set of controls!

Yeah I said it. Now that I’ve covered her wonderful array of helpful features let me discuss the one… let’s say… more irksomely cute feature of Tipsy and it’s her very quirky personality. Yeah, it’s definitely there and has evolved over a few years with the help of many lovely beta testers. The sarcasm and sass is turned up very high and she is extremely unforgiving about how you handle her commands so don’t f*ck up or you might just get ghosted completely!
Well, here we are. What’s said now can’t be unsaid. However, this project is absolutely going ahead full steam from here on out! I’m absolutely loving it and I can’t wait to see where it goes next! There are SO MANY plans in the pipeline for this little go getter! If you’d asked me 3 years ago where I’d be today I’d never have even thought to say developing a multi-platform, social media-driven, interactive cryptocurrency chat and payment robot. The future is really weird but I was born ready for it! Tipsy has been a true labor of love for years and I’m extremely excited to bring her to the world.
