Start Doing…
The New Year period is always one full of new dreams and goals. Capturing goals is a critical part of achievement (it’s one of the central functions of Titan Goals and why we wrote it). For far too many, that is where people’s journey ends. They are planners. Thinkers and dreamers.
All of these traits are good and necessary. But they fail without putting them into action.
Without doing, nothing really matters. No matter how good an idea or how noble a quest. Without the desired results, all of the dreaming and proclaiming to friends and family that you will be the next Steve Jobs or cure homelessness in your community does not matter.
Talking without action does not produce results. Indeed, it can make things worse. Reputations can be damaged, opportunities can be missed, and people will label you an unreliable “head in the clouds dreamer”.
Without drawing deer and rabbits, there would have been no “Bambi”. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” never would have sailed into theaters without execution of a plan. Disney never would have built his land without dogged determination while explaining a concept most thought was doomed.
Doing can be a scary step. It opens up the possible of failure (both in large and small ways). But it can also be a most wonderful feeling with it results in success. Doing opens up the potential of achieving your goals, even when it’s against the odds.
