What are the main differences between them
Many members of the TITAN community have asked questions about the new Punkz Reloaded series and the future prospects for the TITAN Punkz (Genesis) series. This article aims to address the main questions from the community.
Enhancement not replacement
The Punkz Reloaded series is an enhancement to the genesis series, not a replacement. There will be 20,020 generative NFTs minted using the ERC-721 standard, so each NFT is immutable and unique like its image. The genesis series was created using the ERC-1155 standard which uses a single contract for the whole series. Investors and collectors are more attracted to NFTs created using the ERC-721 standard. The TITAN ecosystem becomes stronger as more products are added to it. That is the goal for the Reloaded series: to create new use cases for TITAN and the TITAN community. The more use cases, the faster we can accomplish our mission: Make TITAN Great Again. Following the completion of sales of TITAN Punkz Reloaded - Release the Dogs, a single staking pool with 10% of all the sales proceeds will be created to allow the community to earn a high yield on their TITAN.
Unique store on OpenSea
The TITAN Punkz (Genesis) are shown under the Doki Doki store on OpenSea. They cannot be shown under the TITAN Punkz shop on OpenSea. That creates many issues to promote the series to external investors. One main issue is the floor price. TITAN Punkz's floor price is higher than other NFTs under Doki Doki and investors when seeing that a TITAN Punkz is trading much higher than the floor price do not understand why. The Punkz Reloaded will trade under its own shop on OpenSea. Investors will be able to assess the floor price of the collection and understand the different rarity levels and be able to price each NFT differently. So rare NFTs will be sought after by collectors analysing the floor price and different rarity levels.
Same quantity of NFTs
There are 20,020 TITAN Punkz NFTs in existence. Some TITAN Punkz owners never transferred out their Punkz from Doki Doki, so only 18,735 TITAN Punkz are in circulation on OpenSea. The TITAN Punkz Reloaded will also have 20,020 NFTs but all of them will be in circulation after the completion of the sales. There is a rare Lucky Hand that has not been transferred out from Doki Doki, so we cannot trace its wallet (owner). And some other rare Punkz are also not in circulation and locked inside Doki Doki.
1 to 1 claim for rare Punkz (Genesis)
For the Release the Memes series, owners of rare NFTs such as Hand of God and Lucky Hand (other rare ones will also be 1 to 1 free minting) will receive a free generative Hand of God or Lucky Hand NFT from the Release the Memes series. That means if you own a Hand of God, you will receive a free generative Hand of God NFT. No rare NFTs from the Release the Memes series will be available for sale and they will be given to current owners of the genesis series. However, if the owner of the Lucky Hand that is locked inside Doki Doki does not claim his/her generative Lucky Hand, that Lucky Hand will be put on sale within the Release the Memes series. Other rare ones not claimed by their owners will also become available for sale.
Benefits for TITAN Punkz Reloaded
A generative series with an entry point (price) more affordable than other generative series and the only series that accepts only TITAN as payment. NFT staking will be available for Reloaded series, so you can stake your NFT and earn the TITANDAO governance token.
Other benefits Punkz (Genesis)
The genesis series is and will continue to be used when we design new products and experiences for the TITAN community. For example, wallets that hold the required amount of Yappy Dogs, Gas Dogs, Rug Dogs and Moon Dogs are able to whitelist for the upcoming Release the Dogs series while receiving free minting based on the quantity of genesis NFTs they own. The genesis series will continue to be used for whitelisting of future NFTs series, including the relaunch of the Galactic Gods. We also have new ideas to use the genesis series and are discussing a game that you play using the genesis TITAN Punkz NFTs. So rest assured that the genesis series will preserve its utility and value within our expanded ecosystem.
