New integration: host your virtual events on tix with zoom

Since the pandemic broke out in Nigeria, we’ve been working on making sure our product was moving with the times, however unusual they had become. Before this year, no one (at least not many people) anticipated how virtual events would completely overtake live events. This week, we’re excited to open up our Zoom integration which had previously been in a private beta to all tix users.

What is Zoom?
Zoom is a cloud-based web conferencing platform.

How does the integration work?
When you sell tickets on tix for a virtual event, you can generate a Zoom link for the event to be sent to attendees when they register/buy tickets.

Do I need to have a Zoom Subscription?
No, you do not. Simply download Zoom and click the start event button within the tix app to launch Zoom with host permissions on the day of your event. Clicking start event with launch Zoom with you as the meeting host.

Will my event have the 40-minute Zoom limit?
No, your event will have unlimited minutes. However, there is a guest limit of 100 guests. For larger events, please contact us.
