tix.africa x bamboo : powering ticketing for wealth creation 💸 💰
Bamboo is a technology platform that gives Nigerians unrestricted access to invest in over 3,000 stocks listed on the U.S. stock exchanges and Nigerian stock exchange through an app.
With Bamboo, any Nigerian can buy, hold or sell U.S and Nigerian stocks.
The Challenge
As part of its mission to equip as many Africans as possible with the tools to build wealth from the ground up, Bamboo organized a multi-day bootcamp focused on demystifying personal finance, entrepreneurship, and investing.
It was a three-day event with different sessions occurring each day and they needed a seamless way for guests to register for multiple sessions at once.
The Solution
We started off by creating a custom subdomain on tix with dedicated hosting for the event and with this unique link, guests were able to register for the event with just a name, email, and phone number. This custom integration offered Bamboo the opportunity to personalize the tix experience in their own unique way with their brand colours, imagery, and gifs. This made the page a lot more inviting and encouraged visitors to register for the event.
On the backend, we worked to enable guests to register for multiple sessions at once, and with the confirmation emails sent by tix, guests were able to add these sessions to their personal calendars. They received one email with all the information about the sessions they registered for and each guest got a reminder email before each session.
With the tix dashboard, Bamboo was able to monitor guest registrations, communicate to over 14,000 registrants at a go, sending information about special offers, surveys, and giveaways specifically targeted to guests who had registered for the boot camp.
