To celebrate the release of Tame Impala’s new album ‘Slow Rush’, Kevin Parker will be reuniting the band for a tour around Australia for the first time since 2015. The occasion prompted thousands of fans to take an early work break and get online at 11 o'clock to jump in an online queue for a chance of scoring tickets. But the queue was short-lived for many, as general admission tickets sold out in a matter of seconds leaving thousands ticketless

Outraged fans have taken to the internet to express their frustration as tickets immediately made its way onto scalping platform Viagogo for well over face value. Many of the resale tickets on Viagogo, were purchased using automated scalping bots which snatch up tickets in bulk far more quickly than fans can secure a ticket. On top of all this, there is no way to verify whether the tickets on Viagogo are verified and that you won’t get knocked back at the door.

The safest way to buy a Tame Impala ticket is to join the waitlist on Tixel. When fans decide they can’t go, you’ll be notified first when they sell a ticket.
