First phase of the ticketing revolution

Today marks a big step in our journey to better ticketing — the release of our alpha application. This is the opportunity for all of you to get the first glimpse on the brand new ticketing era. The alpha application stores all the information on our smart contracts and uses a test version of our token for transfers. The alpha application has a simplified front end, which was designed by our lead designer Reinis, for easier interaction with the smart contracts.

To convince even the most sceptical people, we created this application that works as a proof of concept and shows that ticketing on the blockchain is possible. We do understand that there are still things to be done until we can ship a working product to our partners. To improve scalability we have to plug in our service layer. We have to develop support for fiat payments and of course deploy a ticket scanning solution. But rest assured — we will use our knowledge gained during the development of the application to achieve all these things. That is why now we are entering the next phase and working hard on the beta application that will be released in the pilot this summer.
