Tixico Distributes First Batch of Tickets on EOS

Dear Tixicommunity,

For a while now we have been talking about issues of current ticketing market, potential solution we offer, introduced to our partners and shared our vision of the beautiful future of ticketing laying ahead of us.

Just last week we also announced the biggest change for Tixico yet — moving to EOS. I know, there are skeptics out there and passionate supporters of more traditional blockchain platforms, yet we know what we are doing and we firmly believe that this was the right choice.

Here is a proof as well.

For every company there are few key milestones. Of course, one of the biggest is the moment you make your first actual deal and see that it has not been only a dream but your product works well and other organisations approve of it. Tixico team has been working hard and smart to reach this point and we have done it already in such of short time of operations.

So here we go. Last week, in the very middle of July the first batch of tickets were registered with Tixico on the EOS testnet. Month of July was all about football, and that is why it’s no surprise that our first deal also was football related. As you may know, one of our partners is FC Liepāja, and now our partnership has reached the next level. Those who wanted to attend the First Qualifying Round of UEFA Europa League match between FC Liepāja and BK Häcken could purchase their tickets on Tixico platform. They may have been surprised of the smooth process that ran smoothly and way faster than they’ve seen ever before. But rest assured — no magic is behind this, just a great blockchain platform and smart work of our tech team.

Unfortunately or fortunately — there are no funny or dramatic stories to share that would make for a good headline or anything. Well, not that we are surprised by that, tho. Everything went smoothly, system didn’t crash, the Pandora’s box is still closed, it’s just that now we are one step closer to towards reaching our mission.

This is just the first deal of many more to come and we wanted to share these news with you friends.
