Tixl’s licensing its BEP20/ERC20 Bridge — welcome YOP!
We had an amazing launch on Binance Smart Chain and PancakeSwap last week. It only took hours until first crypto projects asked us about our bridge. So we decided to decentralize & license it to others. Our partner YOP.finance is the first licensee!

If crypto ERC20 projects want to list on PancakeSwap or a BSC DEX, they have to offer their token holders a ERC20 <-> BEP20 Bridge. Binance itself has one, but only offers this to projects that are listed on binance.com. However, only a handful of smaller Altcoins are. This is the reason why Tixl has not been able to use the Binance bridge itself. As a result, we decided to build a bridge ourselves. In addition, we wanted to have a bridge that is fully decentralized; the Binance Bridge is not.
The same problem that Tixl had is existent for many projects willing to migrate to or list on BSC or as a BEP20 token. Just hours after we released our bridge, many projects knocked on our door and asked whether they can use our bridge too.
We thought about it and, in favor for all our TXL investors, we decided to build a small side business out of it. From now on, we license our ERC20 <-> BEP20 bridge to all projects interested (interested projects can send an email to bridge@tixl.org). Collected license fees will benefit all TXL holders. A detailed explanation how will be communicated soon.
Our first client and partner is YOP.finance. YOP stands for what they build, a Yield Optimization Platform & Protocol. We are happy to welcome them as our first bridge client! In addition, we are looking forward to evaluate other areas of cooperation. In the future, yield optimization might also be a relevant topic for Tixl’s Autobahn Network or other Tixl products.
