Why Do We Die?

A Poem

Why do we die? she asked.

It’s to live forever,

for dying is temporal

and living is eternal

and it is only when you die,

that you truly live,

for what fruits must the seeds bring forth

to perish?

It isn’t about the destination,

but the transition,

into wholeness

that makes us realize

the plan,

the purpose,

the phases,

and death be a harsh one,

but it is not prudent of our

true nature,

and that is why it is so hard to say,

Goodbye.
