Advertising isn’t a one-way sales pitch. It’s a two-way conversation. If you’re interested in starting one, it helps to have a genuine interest in the other person. It also doesn’t hurt to have a positive attitude and the ability to tell a good story. Being a good listener is essential, and so is being honest, open, and true to your values. If you were a door-to-door salesperson a hundred years ago, you knew all this. Not all today’s marketers do.

We’re fans of advertising that that follows these rules and we’ll sight examples every week. Almost always on Wednesdays. Just because.
