In a technologically driven lifestyle I assume it to have a smartphone first than to use the same money for a healthy task. Now before we come to understand what this healthy task is, I as the writer of this piece would like to clarify that this article is for underdeveloped and developing countries. Countries in which internet WIFI is not free but charged. Where roads, railways, water and electricity is still a problem. Countries that still produce best of their regions for export to developed nations. These are countries where social welfare programs in health and education fail.

Therefore, if you are not the part of either of these categories of countries, then you may skip this article and read my other writings, unless you are interested in the solution to avoid your smartphone. This categorisation suggests problem difference between the developed and developing countries . As I belong to a developing country, therefore, I only understand complexity of developing countries, and developing countries only get to taste of a technological advancement once it becomes a norm in the developed part of world. For example 4G internet speed.

So whether we have internet, smartphone in last one and a half decade has become integral of people lifestyle, irrespective of economic class division, and more so when we have little of free or paid internet at 4G speed is last couple of years. Advent of YouTube and Facebook was not enough that Twitter and Instagram widen a smartphone. And when Snap-chat CEO said something about poor countries. Well I never heard what he said? Did you?

It correlates the ongoing widening of smartphone use to material available for the user to choose. In return, lot of research reports by social advocates on health and lifestyle are a suggesting people to keep away from social media., what they inefficient to suggest is that keep away from a smartphone. Is this easy as it looks? I doubt, therefore I thought of using this medium of a technologically driven medium to put across my point. It’s like only iron can cut iron. Things would have been different, if I was part of a classroom or a conference. Would I have used a PPT to make my point? Surely not.

Among all the tools available, smartphones are the worrisome because they are handy and they are with you all the time. So you need to know for yourself why you want to keep away your phone now? Is it because antisocial media advocates are emerging in great volume all over on the social media itself to make you realize time consumed, relationship and health? Or is it something else? Well the answer is simple, the simple reason to believe that your wish to tame your own use of a smartphone is a good enough reason for you to believe that your wish is morally acceptable in the light of social media growth.

To monitor the demand and supply of social media content and smartphone use, the best was is to quickly renounced the use of phone for at least one day. In rare case, half day to fifteen hours, may be only during office. Second thing could be try saving some internet data for a day or two. Third thing could be work toward renouncing your favorite time pass in your your smartphone. Start with What’s app use, followed by Facebook and Youtube.

Use all of these social media platform only on a laptop or PC, only if you have one or ask your friend to let you open your facebook account on her laptop. Emails can be answered first thing in the morning, all professional at big positions practice this art of responding emails in the morning. If your work doesn’t allow you to keep your phone for emails away, then make it a practice to go back to you phone at interval of two hours only, unless phone rings for a call. A combination of these practices will keep you healthy and will keep you abreast with the art of renouncing, eventually you will be able to spend more time with friends, family and relations like before year 2000.

One most important thing which is not published or heard anywhere in the world, as far smart phone behavioural research is concerned. This important research finding is my own and I wish some university, somewhere in the world will prove my hypothesis by doing actual research on this behavioural aspect of smartphone with a larger sample size. For a day observe your use of smartphone and see what hand is used maximum times during a day while handling and picking up of smart phone. If it’s left than try to keep your smartphone to your right, or vise verse. Basically just keep it away from your heart.

This article is in a series. Keep your self tuned in with this writing. May be your responses will encourage me to write more and tell you more ways to avoid smartphone with out hurting smartphone business.
