Born Today: Justin Peck

Born Today: Dancer/choreographer Justin Peck (1987-) danced with the New York City Ballet, and was appointed Resident Choreographer in 2014, a post held by only one other choreographer, Christopher Wheeldon (1973-). He has created works for companies all over the United States and for the Paris Opera Ballet. Like many other ballet choreographers with NYCB, Peck choreographs for Broadway shows and in 2018 he won a Tony Award for Best Choreography for a revival of Carousel.

Movie: Brigadoon released in 1954.
