Beyond the Game

As one can expect, we won’t long forget the likes of Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter, Kobe, etc. The same, of course, can be said of LeBron James. This is just the nature of one becoming a legend in their craft or trade. Well, LeBron is one that not only will be remembered just due to memory itself but also for the legacy he’s built and growing off the court with his partner and lifelong friend, Maverick Carter. There’s almost more going on off the court than there is on it by a long shot. ESPN’s Pablo S. Torre did a write up for the next issue of ESPN Magazine, detailing what exactly is going on and, even more, how well it’s going.

Raid in America

It was announced today the there will be an American remake of the fantastic action flick, The Raid, with Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces, The A-Team) set to direct. Leading the cast will be Mr. Frank Grillo (The Shield, Prison Break). This should be fun, if nothing else. Remakes can be hit or miss, but I’m fairly sure they have a pretty good grasp on the expectations with the level of martial arts in the original. Then again, Hollywould.

Snap, Crackle, Knowledge!

Charlie.

I’m beginning to fall in love with this charming little segment over at First We Feast. Hot Ones is back again, this time with Charlie Day tasting ten of those hot sauces while promoting Fist Fight, premiering 02/17/2017.
