The Cryptkeeper Returns
TNT has released promos for their reboot of the Tales from the Crypt series with M. Night Shyamalan running the show. It sounds like the reboot is still likely in idea-phase but with enough traction for promos. How exciting!
The Irishman
Netflix purchased the rights to Martin Scorsese’s new gangster film, The Irishman, starring Robert DeNiro. Based on the book, I heard You Paint Houses, this is the story about the man who claims to have been involved with the killing, better offing, Jimmy Hoffa amongst many others in the mob scene.

Nick Offerman’s Workshop
The man that is Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation and the man that plays/played him, Nick Offerman, are actually very, very much alike. Not only do they look the same (Fun!), they also share the same, favorite hobby: woodworking. Offerman has recently worked with the folks at This Old House, and now they’ve gone to visit him in his kingdom of craft.

Prisoner
Last week, Ryan Adams released his new record, Prisoner. Along with the release, Adams made an appearance on episode 785 of WTF with Marc Maron. I highly recommend both the record and sit-down with Maron. It’s fascinating to hear stories about how other grew up and how they got to what they are, more than where they are.
