Labani Beach is a tourist attraction in the seaside resort town of Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.

It is the main beach of the three side by side beaches of Cox’s Bazar, which stretches for about 75 miles of sandy beach. Labani is also the closest to Cox’s Bazar city.

Getting from the city to the beach is easy, one of the most popular and memorable ways to travel is by rickshaw or motorized rickshaw. The best time to visit is November to March, when there is usually little rain.

tourism

Tourism is the main reason why the area around Labani Beach is thriving today. It is always buzzing with tourists even during the monsoon months, except during the monsoon season when it rains particularly heavily.
.
Still, some locals and curious tourists visit the falls in the nearby Hamchari National Park even during the worst of the monsoons. Labani Beach is easy to get to from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

Near the beach, there are many vendors selling tourist souvenirs and beach accessories. Some of these stores sell T-shirts and jewelry along with shoes and bags. There are also handmade clothes and hand-rolled local cigars.

the uniqueness

Labni Beach puts on a spectacular show for tourists and locals alike at sunrise and sunset. This includes ocean waters that change their color over the course of the day. At night, the coastal waters glow with phosphorescent organisms.

The beach area is safe at night in that it is never completely empty of people and as an additional security measure, the area is guarded by the local tourist police.

threat

Tourists are generally safe on the beach, as the area is usually patrolled by many beach police. However, swimming poses several dangers to those who are careless or unskilled swimmers.

Water currents close to the beach have undertows and can carry swimmers far out to sea. Conversely, people can pose a danger to the environment by littering the beach.

When this litter is washed out to sea, the marine animals entangled in the litter will have little or no chance of survival if they fail to break free. Meanwhile, the status of Hamchari forest has been changed to a national park due to environmental concerns of the government.
