We surveyed over 200 junior researchers for their opinions on career travel: what gets in the way, and why do junior researchers travel less than their peers?

Between funding and time constraints, funding came up as the biggest barrier by a significant margin. But researchers also a range of other issues from childcare challenges to the restrictions created by hierarchy.
