Storytelling is one of the freshest ideas to emerge for successful branding and website promotion. It’s no secret that visual content is making its way to the forefront of content marketing strategies. Content that is visually stimulating, engaging, and interactive is critical to producing high-quality content for your audience. But the concept of visual storytelling is more relevant now than ever, especially in light of our highly digital age in which there is a constant battle for consumers’ attention. Creating a good story will make people pay attention and are worth remembering, making your brand more memorable.

Now days visual storytelling involves the use of graphics, images, pictures and videos to engage with viewers in an effort to drive the emotions and interaction. These are tactics marketers have been tuned into for years, but with the rapid rise in digital marketing, they’re now calling upon designers like you to bring their messages to life.

A compelling story doesn’t have to be complex or detailed. Today I am presenting a few websites with appealing visual storytelling, which may compel your imaginative mind for your next web design.

Borgo Veneto

My Lapka

The Best Reason

The Boat

LUNA — Una historia que da la vuelta

Popitas

The Museum of Mario

Some stories, though, are more complicated, and aren’t well suited to static images. Sometimes they greatly benefit from directly involving the user in the story itself. Interaction design isn’t an ornamental branch of web design. It is the core to allowing users to become part of the story you tell, which makes them more of a participant than a passive observer.

Make your visual story as simple or complex as it needs to be to get the job done. Don’t add interactive elements just for the sake of adding them, and consider carefully those that you do add to ensure they add value to the end user, rather than just being there to for user attention.
