Sending a Tx on Faraday Testnet[EN/KR]

Tokamak Network의 Faraday Testnet에서 트랜잭션 전송해보기 (ENG /KOR)

This manual is to show you how to connect MetaMask and Faraday Testnet, and after connecting those two, you can send a transaction(Tx) on the Faraday Testnet with your MetaMask.

There are four steps to follow:
Step 1. Install MetaMask and connect to the Faraday Testnet.
Step 2. Send a faucet ETH from the “faucet.”
Step 3. Send a transaction from the Faraday Testnet
Step 4. Search the transaction hash(Txn hash).

Step 1. Install MetaMask and connect to Faraday Testnet.

• You can google MetaMask basics.

• Click MetaMask Chrome extension.

1–1. Add Network (Custom RPC)

• Network Name: faraday
• RPC URL: https://api.faraday.tokamak.network
• You can empty chain ID, symbol, and explorer boxes.

You can pick and choose your own network name, but RPC URL must be this address: http://api.faraday.tokamak.network

*If you want to add MTON on your MetaMask account, please check this link.

1–2. How to Check User Address at Faraday Testnet

[Example] Account address is 0xE8….dE3

Step 2. Send faucet ETH from the “faucet”

2–1. Go to Faucet

Faucet1 http://faucet.faraday.tokamak.network

If not, please try the link below.

2–2. Sync your “tweet”

1. If you click “tweet,” another page will pop-up. Please refer number2. to follow.

You must have your own Twitter account to receive a faucet.

2–3. Replace “0x000” with the user account address.

2–4. Tweet.

2–5. Copy the Twitter link.

[Example] User address is 0xE8….dE3

2–6. Copy and paste the Twitter link into the faucet.

2–7. Check the faucet ETH under the user account.

Step 3. Send a transaction from the Faraday Testnet

3–1. Send the faucet ETH to the event account address

• Add the recipient (Address/ Event account address): 0x8B41B4400c41Feb38D8909D03679Ee313012ee2e
• Amount: 1 ETH

* To participate in this event, you must send a transaction to this address (0x8B41B4400c41Feb38D8909D03679Ee313012ee2e)
**Note: Please make sure you work on the “faraday testnet” instead of Main Ethereum Network.

Step 4. Search the transaction hash(Txn hash).

4–1. Search account address

Go to the Faraday Testnet Explorer, and search the faucet ETH address to verify the transaction.

4–2. Verify transaction history

4–3. Copy the transaction hash

• To participate in the event, please submit the transaction hash in the form.
• To participate in the event, the team will send rewards via the Faraday Testnet account address.

해당 매뉴얼은 Tokamak Network의 Testnet인 Faraday와 메타마스크를 연결 하고, Faraday Testnet에서 트랜잭션(Tx)을 전송하는 방법을 안내하기 위해 작성되었습니다.

트랜잭션 전송은 4가지 단계로 진행됩니다.
Step 1. 메타마스크를 설치하고, Faraday Testnet 연결
Step 2. faucet에서 faucet ETH 받기
Step 3. Faraday Testnet에서 트랜잭션 전송
Step 4. 트랜잭션 해시값(Txn hash) 조회

Step 1. 메타마스크와 Faraday Testnet 연결

• 메타마스크 설치 및 기본적인 사용법은 구글링하여 확인 가능

• 크롬 확장프로그램에서 메타마스크 클릭

1–1. 네트워크 추가 (사용자 정의 RPC)

• 네트워크 이름 : faraday
• RPC URL : https://api.faraday.tokamak.network
• Chain ID, symbol, explorer url 차단은 공란

네트워크 이름은 원하는 이름으로 설정해도 되지만, RPC URL은 http://api.faraday.tokamak.network 로 해야함

* 참고: 메타마스크에 MTON 을 추가할 경우

1–2. Faraday Testnet에서 사용자의 계정 주소 확인

[예시] 사용자의 계정 주소는 0xE8….dE3

Step 2. Faucet에서 ETH 받기

2–1. Faucet 접속

Faucet1 http://faucet.faraday.tokamak.network

작동하지 않을 경우, 아래의 링크에서 시도해주세요.

2–2. Tweet 연동하기

1. Tweet을 클릭하면 2. 와 같은 화면이 뜨는 것을 볼 수 있습니다.

Faucet을 받기 위해서는 트위터 계정이 있어야함

2–3. 0x000인 부분을 Faraday Testnet 사용자 계정 주소로 대체
2–4. 트윗하기
2–5. 트윗 링크 복사하기

[예시] 사용자의 계정주소는 0xE8….dE3

2–6. 트윗 링크를 faucet에 붙여넣기

2–7. 사용자 계정 주소에 faucet ETH가 들어왔는지 확인

Step 3. Faraday Testnet에서 트랜잭션 전송하기

3–1. 이벤트 계정주소에 faucet ETH 보내기

• 수신자 추가(받는주소 / 이벤트 계정주소): 0x8B41B4400c41Feb38D8909D03679Ee313012ee2e
• 수량: 1 ETH

* 반드시 해당 계정으로 트랜잭션을 전송해야만 이벤트에 참여한 것으로 인정됩니다. (0x8B41B4400c41Feb38D8909D03679Ee313012ee2e)
** [주의!] 이더리움 메인넷이 아닌 faraday testnet인지 다시한번 확인하세요!

Step 4. 트랜잭션 해시(Txn hash)를 조회한다.

4–1. 계정주소 검색

Faraday testnet 익스플로러에서 Faucet ETH를 전송한 사용자 계정 주소를 검색한다.

4–2. 트랜잭션 내역 확인
