In our previous post, “Introduction to TokenBubbles”, we provided insight into the main functionalities of the platform.

This time we’re going to present how to enter companies, tokens and ICOs onto the platform for community rating and voting and overall visibility on TokenBubbles.

To start off, log in or register, then head on back to the red “Plus” icon on the Home page and opt whether you want to enter the:

  1. Company that created the ICO
  2. Token information
  3. ICO information, by following the step by step wizard.

Note: The last option allows the user to enter both Company and token information or to just select the previously entered Company and Token information and move forward with entering the ICO information.

1. Adding a Company

When it comes to the type of information that is required for Companies, the following is needed:

  • Company name
  • Company address
  • Date of incorporation
  • Jurisdiction
  • Website
  • Official email
  • Phone number

Then just press “Add company” to finish this segment.

2. Adding a Token

If you are entering only token information, do the following:

  • Go to the red “plus” sign and choose “Add Token” from the dropdown menu. Once the window opens, you will be required to enter the following information:
  • Token name
To clarify, the token name can naturally be different than the ICO name and in the following segment (Adding an ICO), the user can tie the token name to the ICO that is being listed.
  • Token icon
The token icon is not format sensitive and will resize accordingly.
  • Token symbol/ticker
The symbol is most often a 3–5 letter abbreviation or acronym of the token name that is later displayed when the tokens are listed on exchanges such as BTC or ETH. The length can be longer but beware, different exchanges have different guidelines on how they present the symbol
  • Token type
Token types come with different options like Ethereum’s token standards: ERC-20, ERC-223, ERC-721 but also tokens made on the NEM platform etc.
  • Token function
The token functions category also offers a broad array to choose from such as : Asset coin, crowdfunding, currency, utility coin and others.
  • Token industry
Here we have a broad list of industries under which certain tokens can be placed such as Gaming, Healthcare, Security, Transportation etc. If we’ve missed any, feel free to drop us a line on the Contact page and suggest new industries.
  • Jurisdiction
Jurisdiction, as the name implies, allows the user to select the country in which the token will be registered and is most often the same as the ICO jurisdiction.
  • Company (if previously defined)
Select the previously entered company (if applicable)
  • Roadmap (Date, Title and Description)
The roadmap portion allows you to enter multiple dates so you can choose as many or as little of roadmap events as you like. Please provide a duration, title and brief description of the event in your project’s timeline
  • Tick option to Claim token
Within this window is the option to Claim the token so that only you (if the claim is verified by the TokenBubbles team) can change or update information on this token. There is an added opportunity to claim the token from the Home Page when clicking on the quick view of the token itself, so don’t worry if you don’t press this button during initial token entry.

And finally, you can go on to listing the ICO.

3. Adding an ICO

Again, press the red “Plus” sign on the Home screen and Add ICO from the dropdown menu.

As said, you can enter company details or skip this part;

Regarding token details, they need to be completed or selected from already existing tokens, this part cannot be skipped.

Since there is a bit more to cover and enter here, let’s take it portion by portion:

  • The Name can be prepopulated if it is the same as a company or token name previously entered. Just start by typing in the beginning of the ICO name.
  • The description is a brief overview of the project, that counts up to 297 characters.
  • The Icon image is not size sensitive. In general, the icon is only a symbol that can fit into a bubble.
  • Select the token you previously entered
  • Select the Service company that is launching or developing the ICO if it exists in the database, if not, you can suggest to add the Service company to our list. This can be done through our Contact page.

Now we go on to the ICO details

The information you will need in order to fill this out are:

  • ICO start and end date
  • Soft and hard cap where you can also pick the desired crowdfunding crypto or fiat currency for easier comparability of the users
  • Token distribution usually implies the categories in which the tokens will be used. It is common to place here, for example, the number of tokens that will be sold in the ICO, the number of tokens that will be kept by the team, the number of tokens in reserve, bounty etc. We advise that you keep this distribution in 5 or 6 categories for an easier overview on the pie chart -TokenBubbles preferred visual display of this section.
  • Profit distribution implies how the profit from the presale and crowdsale will be spent after the ICO. Here we suggested: profits that would go into Research and Development, Marketing, Operations, Business Development, Equipment purchase etc.

To finish off this segment the platform also requires these details:

  • An official website link
  • Whitepaper link
  • Social media links to quickly connect with the ICOs if the users want to learn more or just support the ICO
  • The user can request a review or not, but the community has the right to provide one in any case.

And finally, press “Add ICO” to complete this portion of the listing. A green pop-up “ICO added successfully” will appear on the lower right of the screen stating that you have successfully entered an ICO.

The platform will lead you to additionally add the ICO team members where it is advisable to acknowledge the team members that participate in its creation.

Once there, you can:

  • Enter their name
  • Upload their cover photos for easier recognition
  • Brief description
  • Title
  • E-mail address
  • Social or other contact

Here too, you will receive feedback if you’ve added the team members successfully.

After that, check back on the Homepage, search for your ICO and find it among the existing bubbles; Review the information on the right panel and see if you haven’t left anything out. You can click on “Edit token” or “Edit ICO” on the quick view on the Home Page or by going to your Profile, located on the top right corner of the screen and selecting the tokens or ICOs that you have already entered. It leads you to an admin panel where you can make changes if necessary.

Congratulations! You have successfully listed an ICO on TokenBubbles, now we shall see how the community will react to it. You can monitor for any comments or reviews, directly on the platform within Notifications next to your Profile name, on the News feed from the platform, via instant, daily or weekly updates or externally through Telegram or Twitter feeds.
