The Hatch is just days away! While we wait for the final sign off from all 11 of the Working Groups to open the Hatch, we want to share with you this final sprint’s latest news and Praise quant.

📊 Impact Hour Analysis Voting Results 🗳️
The proposal submissions and voting has been completed for the Impact Hour analysis. Submitting and voting on proposals ran from June 24 to July 2 with a 24h extension until July 3 at the request of the community. Four proposals were selected from seven for the run-off and finalized July 2. Voting closed July 8.
Here are the 4 run-off proposals:

And the winner is…! 🥁
The final tally showed a very close race between numbers 11 and 12, with the community deciding to allow for a collaboration between the two to decide the parameters for the Impact Hour intervention. We look forward to those decisions in the near future.
The Praise data analysis was long and involved, sometimes light-hearted, sometimes intense, and as a community we found rifts and alliances that eventually strengthened our collective bond. Moving forward, we are grateful not only for one another’s support but for the communal commitment to upholding the TEC’s values and to making it an inclusive, dynamic, dependable and heartfelt community that is able to forge ahead not just despite differences but due to the unique and meaningful points of view each and every one of us hold.

👋🏾 Don’t Lose Your Impact Hours 💸
A final reminder that any unclaimed Impact Hours will disappear forever on the first day of the Hatch. If you’ve participated in the TEC in any way and received Praise, you have Impact Hours! Claim them before it’s too late!
Impact Hours accumulate through the acknowledged participation of contributors in the TEC through the Praise system. They will be converted to TEC Hatch tokens during the Hatch. To claim those tokens, you must activate your Trusted Seed membership before the first day of the Hatch. Activate your Trusted Seed membership now.
The TEC Hatch is only open to activated Trusted Seed members. Immediately before we hatch, activated Trusted Seed members will be registered to receive their Impact Hours. At that time, any Impact Hours not associated with an activated Trusted Seed member will be lost forever!
A scholarship is available for the Trusted Seed membership, open to anyone who may need it. Apply here.
⏲️ Countdown to Hatch 🐣
We are inches away from the Hatch and are awaiting the green light from each of the 11 Working Groups. We are so close! Here is our last checklist.
Meanwhile, don’t forget to get wxDAI, as that is what you will need to participate in the Hatch. We mentioned this in the last blog post as well as on the forum, with complete directions on how to do it.

We are really looking forward to Paris EthCC this year because the TEC will be there! We hope you will too. Drop us a note in the Discord Community Hall to let us know you’re coming! TEC contributors (including yourself!) receive Praise from others in the community through Telegram and Discord. Every two weeks, this Praise is quantified as Impact Hours, which are to be converted into TECH tokens during the Hatch. The exact value of Impact Hours will depend on how much is collected in the Hatch.
