Forbes: Vitalik Buterin criticized Bitcoin Cash

He criticized Australian entrepreneur Craig Wright and founder of Bitcoin.com Roger Ver, who took part in a two-hour promotional presentation of Bitcoin Cash.
The founder of Ethereum said that Wright’s presentation is not only an opportunity to boast about how many university degrees he has, but is also a complete nonsense, a lie and illogical. However, it is unlikely that the words of Buterin will somehow affect the situation on the market, experts say.

At the same time, many consider this currency a scam, because it is manipulated by specific people — the fact that violates the main principle of decentralization, says Vladimir Smerkis, Tokenbox co-founder and managing partner. “On the other hand, — he adds, — fans and creators of this currency consider Bitcoin Cash to be a modern Bitcoin because of its greater functionality and high speed of transactions. And one of the main movers of this opinion is precisely Roger Ver.
Conflicts among different currencies always existed, but the current market correction here does not matter”, — says Mr. Smerkis. The same situation occurred between Ethereum and Ethereum Classic, but for the other reasons.
