RAI Workshops — Modeling the Money God
Brought to you by Reflexer Labs, BlockScience and Token Engineering Academy, in the spirit of #OpenScience
Stable coins are a key building block of DeFi, and in Feb 2021 Reflexer Labs introduced the new paradigm of an unpegged stable token, RAI. This deployment was possible thanks to a rigorous engineering design process used to tame the complex system and balance stakeholder needs with system goals. A key component to this process was the modeling and simulations enabled by the cadCAD digital twin. The latest update as of September, the RAI team, with support from BlockScience, has even open sourced this model. Ripe for tinkering and exploration, a workshop series to introduce this model to the Token Engineering community was born!
Workshop Schedule and Curriculum
A 3-session workshop will take place over the first 3 Thursday’s of November (4th, 11th, 18th) at 3pm UTC. We will begin with an introduction to the RAI protocol from Reflexer Labs core team member Stefan Lonescu (twitter), followed by an in-depth walkthrough of the cadCAD digital twin by BlockScience’s Danilo Bernardineli (twitter), which will teach participants interpret, execute, and modify the digital twin for their own experimentation and use cases.
About TE Academy
In the spirit of #OpenScience and general advancement of the Token Engineering field, the TE Academy is excited to engage in this partnership and facilitate these workshops along with value aligned organizations. Since it’s founding in 2020, the TE Academy has set a high standard for Token Engineering education programs, hosting over 700 students and collaborating with projects like Ocean Protocol, GitCoin, Boson Protocol, and HydraDX. We are now excited for the opportunity to introduce the Token Engineering community to the RAI protocol and open sourced cadCAD digital twin!
