Mixed martial arts (MMA) is the world’s fastest-growing sport that nowadays has over 500 million fans and its popularity is constantly growing. Now, through TokenMinds client MMAON both fans and participants can be connected via blockchain and AI modules.

Fans are enabled to trade with MMAON Tokens in order to support their favorite athletes while fighters can have their “salary” via pay-per-view, donations, merchandise sales and sponsorships. Blockchain is, therefore, used in order to make the connection between fans and athletes even closer. Fans are getting more intimate introduction to the fighters’ lives meaning, being able to train like them, follow their eating regime, but also to bet on fights using cryptocurrencies. This is made through MMAONs built-in chat, group chat, messaging, photo-sharing, donation, call, and other functions. Through this close interaction with fighters, fans are enabled to act as a manager by directly helping create future MMA superstars. MMAON Tokens are being deployed on Ethereum network and will launch on crowdsale through a 21-day initial-exchange offering (IEO) allowing fans early access to the token.

Blockchain-Based Ticketing Solution

According to MMAON, in the world of MMA that counts over 550 million fans throughout the world, it is important to engage them actively and not just by buying tickets and watching the fight but also to adjust interaction to their particular interest. However, the question of ticketing is also solved through the MMAON platform. According to them, through its new blockchain-based mobile ticketing solution, the duplication and replication of tickets can be easily prevented by using QR codes only being activated by Bluetooth once fans are in close proximity to the venue.

MMAON is guided by the thesis that everyone likes to be rewarded and the close connection fans can achieve with their idols creates a great symbiosis. MMA organizations that are located outside the US have big problems in finding sponsorship for their fighters. It is estimated that approximately 85% of the MMA audience is located outside the US.

MMAON’s idea is to enable fighters’ wider exposure that combines structured data and popularity score and, therefore, establish their rankings. That also makes it easier for potential sponsors to decide whether to back up a certain fighter.

Through the platform feature called MMARKET, fighters will be able to sell their merchandise as well and exchange it for tokens or fiat money. Organizers are getting their profit as well by offering pay-per-view options outside their region.

Top Performer on Probit Launchpad

MMAON is top performer on Probit Launchpad, a token platform launched by Probit Exchange. In March this year, the MMAON team succeeded in changing the future of the mixed martial arts scene by selling 5,000,000 chips in just a few hours for $ 500,000. The issuance of the MMAON tokens is controlled by a smart contract deployed on Ethereum chain relying on the ERC20 standard. The minimum target for the crowdsale was set to USD$ equivalent of €1 million. 7,435,714,62 Tokens (7,44%) were distributed to the contributors in the MMAON IEO while 4,000,000 MMAON Tokens (4%) were distributed to the private sale investors.

Through their MMAON wallet fans are enabled to trade with their MMAON token on the MMARKET.

The Results

The platform managed to gather over 10,000 fans on its Telegram channel. Also, the Twitter community rose over 300% and the Instagram fan base rose more than 1500%. The official website recorded growth of over 1000% while the official data show that the overall engagement of fans and sponsors rose by 15 times. According to the website, $1.4 million was raised through funds.
