2022 — Annual Round Up
Let’s review the major milestones that drove TokenTraxx momentum during the past 12 months and look at what’s coming up in.

We are all members of multiple music communities — the artists we follow, the DJs we listen to, and the festivals and clubs we attend. TokenTraxx was built as a web3 ecosystem that connects all of this, and helps us to both benefit and grow together.
2022 has been a monumental year for TokenTraxx, and as the year ends, now is an excellent time to review our key accomplishments made during this turbulent and challenging year and how we continue to build in the winter. Exciting projects and developments lie ahead as we continue to redefine how we engage with you, and our music community.
TokenTraxx has evolved from an MVP blockchain development to a market-leading platform, charging ahead with a mission to redefine and enhance the value of music by bringing artists and fans closer together. I am looking forward to what 2023 brings and continuing this journey with you, our vibrant community.

2022 — IGNITING THE ECOSYSTEM WITH TRAXX
TokenTraxx ignited its ecosystem with the TRAXX Token Generation Event (TGE) and sale in March, followed by listings on major centralised exchanges — AscendEX and BitMart.
TRAXX staking went live on XPortal and celebrated the first DEX listing of TRAXX in September when ApeSwap welcomed TokenTraxx as their new Polygon partner.
Additional CEX and DEX listings are in the pipeline for the coming year, so make sure to stay tuned as we enable TRAXX holders to utilise their tokens in different blockchain environments including integrated bridges to Polygon and, most recently, Zilliqa.
TRAXX is our native token. It connects multiple music communities together, creating one powerful ecosystem of rewards and benefits. TRAXX is the unit of exchange on our marketplace and the protocol for TRAXX Studios — a white label solution that slots straight into your ecosystem, allowing artists and companies to better manage and monetise their output, automating the distribution of on chain rights and revenue, transforming and revolutionising how we all create, engage and be rewarded through music.
2022 — THE YEAR WE CONNECTED ARTISTS WITH THEIR FANS
The open Beta launch sparked a lot of action in Q2. The first artists onboarded include Rat Boy’s DYSTOPIA WORLD and MAX RAD, and celebrated our debut release The Lab’s Genesis Drop, which went live on the TokenTraxx Marketplace in early spring.
Since then, we have introduced multiple ground-breaking drops, first alongside our strategic partner OpenLab with a highly curated programme of audio-visual NFTs.
TokenTraxx was also privileged to have a number of speakers at NFT London and we hosted a brilliant day of industry panels and live performances in association with Sound of Fractures.
This was followed up with the first TraxxStemz release. Featuring an unreleased Graffiti6 track remixed by four legendary DJ and producer talents, ‘Revolution’ pushed the boundaries of generative art collections and marked the birth of the TraxxStemz project and community that’s heading for an exciting roadmap activation in 2023.
Our mission to connect talent with audiences in unique ways continued with a much lauded collaboration with Nigerian Superstar rapper, PsychoYP and in the first of our token gated series of mentor programs, we launched a campaign with music industry legend, Kwame Kwaten.
Our drops lay the foundation for proving concepts, exploring the incredible creative and rewarding opportunities Web3 tech brings to music. Watch out for exciting launches, products and partnerships in 2023.
2023 — THE YEAR OF DECENTRALISED MUSIC
TRAXX Protocol & TRAXX Studios
We are ready to take another major step in bringing artists and fans closer together. To further drive decentralisation, TokenTraxx is gearing up to make waves in the Web3 music space, announcing the launch of the first TRAXX Studio on TRAXX Protocol — a white-label minting software that allows anyone to build and run their own music business.
TRAXX Protocol is a Web3 proprietary technology purposely built for the music industry where full ownership of the smart contract, digital collectibles, and any other creation is built within your TRAXX Studio.
Without any intermediaries involved, there is a white-label minting software to deploy smart contracts and marketplaces in your environment, utilising your own domain and infrastructure. Instead of pointing them to a new marketplace, engage your fans where they are!
TRAXXStarz
TRAXXStarz is our annual global talent competition which will be launching in March 2023 and we are excited to announce that this will be in partnership with Mixtape Madness and Disturbing London — two of the most influential tastemakers in UK music.
We continue to attract the most innovative and exciting artists including twin sisters and DJ sensations, Nervo who will partner with TokenTraxx on a groundbreaking NFT drop in early 2023…keep checking the website and our social channels for further updates.
Continued support from Zilliqa on the marketplace
TokenTraxx bridged the TRAXX token on Zilliqa and is working on launching the marketplace on Zilliqa in Q1 2023.
BUILDING A VIBRANT COMMUNITY
Our social media channels allowed us to welcome tens of thousands of music lovers into our community across different platforms, including Twitter, Discord, Telegram, Instagram, and TikTok.
It was a rewarding milestone to connect to our community IRL as we traveled to numerous major blockchain conferences around the globe, including Token2049, Blockdown Croatia, and hosted our own side events at NFT.London.
Developing new resources aimed at educating and inspiring worldwide Web3 music adoption, our team delivered compelling content across multiple platforms, including TikTok, Medium and YouTube.
We recently launched a redesigned homepage along with integrated fiat payment support, making it possible for music fans to buy digital collectibles without having to use cryptocurrency.
Whilst we leverage blockchain tech to support artists, reward curators, and empower fans, making the most of this innovation is all about giving our community access to a whole new world of experiences. So get ready, because we are bringing this year to a close with the launch of TokenTraxx Membership which allows TRAXX holders to unlock a range of exclusive benefits and perks.
Looking ahead, we are excited to kick-start TokenTraxx Sessions in 2023. The first of our regular community meetups will take place on January 19th at the Old Blue Last, London EC2A 3ES.
