Experience-based store b8ta partners with MUFJ Trust & Banking
b8ta Japan will partner with Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation during November 2023. For one month from November 1 to November 30, 2023, b8ta Tokyo — Shibuya will exhibit products from Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation business partners who utilize OMO Data Search.
b8ta will acquire offline data for customers visiting physical stores, while Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking’s “Dprime” app will acquire online data from its approximately 300,000 members. The partners will release analytics and begin a collaboration with OMO Data Search, a customer research support service that transcends the boundaries between online and offline.
Dprime is a service that utilizes the mechanism of an information bank to provide companies with the personal data of individual users. Through the app, individuals are asked to register their data and complete surveys, and the results are used for marketing measures. Individual users can earn points and gifts by completing surveys, logging in, and participating in monthly campaigns.
On the other hand, b8ta has four physical stores in Japan, and appeals to new discoveries and experiences to the many customers who visit the store every day. Quantitative data such as in-store impressions (number of people who passed in front of the product) and discovery (number of people who stayed in front of the product for more than 5 seconds) are collected by b8ta testers (store staff) in line with conventional services such as qualitative customer feedback.
By using OMO Data Search, which combines both services, exhibiting companies can receive integrated research reports that utilize online (in-app surveys) and offline (quantitative and qualitative) data. This will help companies with marketing measures such as setting targets before product release, determining demand for products, elaborating concepts, and suggesting future actions.
