GeNiE has launched the embedded financial service “Money Lamp” for e-commerce companies to add lending functions to their existing businesses. GeNiE is a subsidiary of ACOM, a publicly listed consumer finance company established to promote embedded finance in the lending domain.

With embedded finance lending, e-commerce companies can utilize their existing customer information for screening, aiming for higher accuracy credit decisions than before. Highly accurate credit decisions could lead to increased credit limits, preferential interest rates, and an expanded pool of eligible borrowers for the lending service.

“Money Lamp” is an embedded financial service specializing in lending functions that meets the needs of companies wanting to add finance to their existing businesses. The lending business requires obtaining a money lending license, strict legal compliance, establishing systems to adhere to FSA supervisory guidelines, and faces high entry barriers. However, with “Money Lamp,” companies can start offering lending functions in as little as 2 months. This allows end-users to seamlessly apply for lending services and receive necessary funds on the spot when making purchases through shopping sites or apps they regularly use, contributing to improved customer experience and increased corporate revenue by providing financial services at opportune times when funding needs are high.

Features of “Money Lamp

  • No initial costs or money lending license required for early monetization
  • Enabling companies to offer lending functions in as little as 2 months
  • High-precision credit screening system available as a fintech company 100% invested by ACOM
