BITPoint is one of 17 cryptocurrency exchanges licensed by the Financial Services Agency (FSA). It currently trades Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin and Ripple (see also the JVCEA “Japan Cryptocurrency Exchange Matrix”). BITPoint was part of the initial batch of eleven exchange approved in September 2017 (see also “The Japan Crypto Sixteen”). Founder and President Genki Oda presented at the Japan Blockchain Conference on Wednesday, January 30, 2019. His slides are in Japanese and are captured here without any additional comment and translation (maybe, until we have time to do so).
