Kiraboshi’s digital bank, UI Bank, completes its app renewal
UI Bank, a subsidiary of Tokyo Kiraboshi Financial Group, has renewed its “UI Bank App”. It has simplified the design and added various features to allow anyone to easily carry out everyday banking procedures.
While digitalization has made everyone’s daily lives, such as shopping and payments, very convenient, the benefits of digitalization in banking have still not reached most people.
UI Bank believes that the complexity of banking apps has made them unapproachable, so it have eliminated the hassle of the banking app to make “money matters” feel more familiar and approachable, regardless of age, gender, digital skills, or financial literacy.
Three Features to Simplify Financial Lives
Speed to Quickly Accomplish Tasks
- Even when users want to make a banking transaction, the app may take time to launch or it may be difficult to reach the transaction screen; UI Bank has eliminated such hassles by reducing launch time and making transfers easier
Visibility to Check Information and Operate Without Hesitation
- Even when users want to make a time deposit or withdraw from an ATM, they may need to check their balance or look for the operation menu; UI Bank has eliminated such hassles by consolidating information on the home screen and designing it for visibility
Adding Affection and Warmth to the Impersonal “Money Matters”
- Matters related to money tend to feel impersonal and cold; UI Bank now enables users to import their favorite image onto the home screen, customize frequently used menus to their liking, add messages to transfers, and more, to make banking more personable
