With its first result as a publicly listed company, SBI Sumishin Net Bank in May provided a detailed status of its Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) business, and projected Keio Corporation, Matsui Securities and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank as the next partners going live.

These virtual bank branch launches have now been confirmed:

  • Keio NEOBANK will launch on September 27
  • Sumitomo Mitsui Trust NEOBANK will launch on September 29
  • MATSUI Bank will launch on October 1

With that, the total number of BaaS partners has reached 15, as both Nomucom NEOBANK and Mirai Bank have also been launched in the interim.
