Important Announcement: Token Swap
Today, we would like to announce the launch of our token swap process.
As we have already seen, most critical moments where users are vulnerable to hackers and scammers are initial token contract release, public ICO and token swaps. Since we had a perfect security record until now, we intend to keep it that way. For that reason, token swap will be performed in 4 phases, each of which will be closely monitored and analyzed by our tech personnel:
- phase — Tech team and external security auditors
- phase — Pre-selected users (mainly masternode holders will be invited to perform first swaps)
- phase — After we confirm everything is going smoothly, we will open swaps for all users that want to do it manually and on Hotbit exchange
- phase — For all the other users and rest of the exchanges. This phase will be open as long as it’s needed, until the swap is completed (and all current locks on ERC20 tokens expire).
We are planning to execute all 4 phases before the end of 2019. Our main goal is to increase security and make sure that there are no security incidents. Exact timeline will be determined depending of the feedback from phase 1 and 2. All updates regarding phase progress will be published on all our social media channels.
***NOTE: SWAP DOES NOT INVOLVE YOU SENDING YOUR ERC20 TOKENS TO SOME ADDRESS. IF ANYONE ASKS YOU TO SEND TOKENS TO THEM FOR SWAP, THEY ARE SCAMMERS!
Swap will be possible from all wallets that support exporting keystore files (like Mist, MetaMask, MEW…) and on exchanges that Tolar is listed on (except IDEX). Detailed instructions for most popular wallets will be published on all our channels.
