Tolar HashNET and SunContract sign MoU

During the Euro-Asia Blockchain Summit 2019 in Kuala Lumpur, Tolar HashNET and SunContract have signed the MoU, expressing interest to begin long-term strategic cooperation and seek other cooperation opportunities regarding the development of new markets and products that are supporting UN’s SDGs goals. This partnership will explore new ways of delivering added value to both projects.
SunContract is an energy-trading platform that utilizes blockchain technology to create a new business model for buying and selling electricity, a first global peer to peer energy trading platform based on blockchain. SunContract already started peer to peer retail energy trading services in Slovenia, and are planning expansions to Italy, other EU states, USA, Japan and other countries.
For smooth operations, SunContract platform needs high-frequency transactions and in order to guarantee the immutability of data it needs to utilize the best possible solutions. Tolar HashNET will provide the technology to resolve issues of scalability and ensure further development of peer to peer trading and regular, short timeframe payments and data storage.
