Welcome to the 63rd installment of the Morning Cup series. A (no-longer) daily dose of inspiration and motivation from me, Tom Belskie, to get your day started the right way so that you can go out there and take on the world with a passion and drive unknown to humankind. Thanks for reading!

This is not the first time I’ve gotten burnt out and it probably won’t be the last. But I’ve taken a little time off (almost a month) focused my energies on some other things, spent a lazy week at the beach, and I realized something important:

Life is best lived avoiding the extremes of pretty much anything…religion, politics, diet, work, exercise, drugs, alcohol…the list is endless.

Stay away from the extremes, you don’t want to be anywhere near those people. It's not healthy.

For some people this is obvious.

For me, it's one of those obvious truths that I always knew deep down, but it just took 30 years for it to crystallize in my mind.

Anyways, just food for thought.

Take care and have a happy and healthy weekend.

Thanks for reading!
