A New Era for tomi
Hello tomi family!
It’s no secret that we’ve been a bit hyper-decentralized lately — we were all over the place! But now it’s time to sharpen our focus and rededicate ourselves to our core mission: building an alternative internet founded on the pillars of democracy, decentralization, and community-driven governance.
Looking back at what first got us excited, we’ve decided to put all our energy into what we care about most.
About 6 months ago it was decided that tomi was going on a journey to build a new independent blockchain. It’s been an exciting ride, but honestly, keeping up without dropping our cool features was tough. Development demanded countless hours of programming, designing, and manpower, which diverted our attention from other tomi products. After loads of brainstorming, we realized we need to switch gears to stay true to our vision.
So, here’s the scoop: After meeting hours turned into days, days into weeks and weeks into something that felt like eternity, we came up with this understanding — changes must be made!
tomi has to stay committed to the products we believe in, and we want to dedicate all of our attention to it — this is the reason we started tomi. This means we are separating from anything that distracts us from our ultimate goal, that includes the separation from tomiChain.
As much as we loved developing, building and planning this blockchain, we saw how we’re getting further away from our main mission — building an alternative democratic, decentralized internet that is all out, in, and around the community.
So for now we’re stepping back from working on an independent blockchain, which we all know as tomiChain, and we would pass the torch to the one person who can truly take this forward. It’s a bittersweet moment as we bid farewell to our beloved Goldi, who will embark on this adventure and lead Incentiv — a new user-centric blockchain — to become a truly fascinating project. We have no doubt that this team will work their magic and create blockchain wonders! Good luck, you guys!

With this separation from tomiChain we keep you all in mind, and can guarantee that there will be a financial grant to tomi’s contributors. We will keep a significant financial grant for our dearest community, and would not leave you hanging.
We’re appointing Moshe Ziv as tomi’s new captain. Moshe isn’t just any Joe; he’s been with us since day one, shaping tomi’s community into what it is today. Moshe is one of the first OGs, and his influence runs deep. Moshe brings a killer combo of marketing, PR, and blockchain expertise to the table, along with a serious commitment to our vision and values. From investor to CMO to head honcho, Moshe’s journey with tomi is one for the books, and we couldn’t be more excited to have him leading the charge into the future.
