What would you do, if some new science announced that time isn’t in fact something that we know and are used to. It isn’t that at all — forget passing time, being on time, doing something in time, deadlines and future plans.

What if the new science told you: you will live forever and die forever. And everything that you do in this life will be forever repeated, in every and each of your lives.

I’m not sure if I comprehended Nietzsche correctly, but it seems like that’s what he said. And if not, then I don’t care, because that’s some seriously heavy shit to be given a thought anyway. Doesn’t that make you drop all illusions and finally live like you’ve always wanted?

We shouldn’t think of imagined stuff we’d do in another life. We should focus on our life here and now, because it’s the only one we have. And if it’s to be repeated, we really shouldn’t waste it on doing something that bores us to death every time we do it. Doing it forever wouldn’t be much fun.
