TOMO product update, May 30th, 2018
Dear Tomo community,
We are happy to publish our new product roadmap for the 2018 and early 2019 at our landing page; and also release our latest technical paper on Tomochain Masternodes Design here (it is also in the landing page)
The current test-net, and the test-wallet on our landing page are still operating with an earlier consensus model, namely POA (Proof of Authorities). However, we will be releasing the first version of test-net with POSV (Proof of Stake Voting) consensus and Masternode architecture in the next few months, and proceeding with the main-net launch under the new architecture.
The new architecture offers some novel techniques such as double validation, fair voting mechanism and ‘true’ randomization which we believe keeps our network secure, stable and scalable compared to other previous attempts. We are also launching a research program into sharding technique, which in our opinion, could operate more efficient under our 99 Masternode architecture.
Things are moving fast in Tomochain. We continue with our mission of building a secure and efficient public blockchain, and designing the next generation of infrastructure for the Internet of Value.
