TomoChain is pleased to kick off our new partnership with Neo — a leading blockchain platform- by leveraging their respective strengths to accelerate ecosystem development.

The two parties will enhance ecosystem development through a series of events designed to educate and encourage developers to build dApps on both TomoChain and Neo. Leveraging their respective technological and regional expertise, both parties will support developers in building, localizing, and accessing distribution channels with the aim of connecting them with end-users.

Through this partnership, TomoChain and Neo are helping address a long-standing issue — developers having to act as both builders and distributors. By bringing together their respective strengths, the two parties aim to grow a healthy ecosystem of technical talent that identifies blockchain as a high potential industry while supporting quality projects across both blockchain platforms.

Blockchain is still an immature technology with a largely nascent market. However, as a recipe for success starts to emerge, Neo and TomoChain aim to integrate blockchain into everyday life by attracting not only users but also talented developers to build a more diverse decentralized ecosystem.

John Wang, Director of EcoGrowth at NGD commented on the collaboration: “As blockchain adoption accelerates, Neo and TomoChain look forward to collaborating to build the developer-friendly infrastructure and facilitate enterprise-grade blockchain adoption. Moving forward, I am confident that our united strengths will further empower developers while taking us closer to the smart economy of the future.”

“We are proud to be partnering with Neo on co-ecosystem development. This collaboration underscores our collective beliefs that cooperation among blockchains will be a pivotal driver for the next wave of adoption. Through combining efforts, developers will have access to greater resources and a larger network of end-users across multiple geographic regions, powered by both blockchains.” — shared Kyn Chaturvedi, TomoChain CBDO.

About Neo

Neo is an open-source platform driven by the community. It utilizes blockchain technology and digital identities to digitize and automate the management of assets using smart contracts. Using a distributed network, it aims to create a smart economy by building infrastructures of the next-gen Internet and creating a solid foundation for mass blockchain adoption.

Launched in 2016, the Neo MainNet has been in stable operation for more than 3 years. Neo is expecting to launch Neo3 in 2020, a robust implementation with high throughput, enhanced stability and security, an optimized smart contract system, and a feature-packed infrastructure set to empower developer adoption and to accelerate enterprise-grade blockchain innovations.

About TomoChain

TomoChain is built on a performance layer that achieves high transaction speeds without compromising decentralization. TomoChain uses an innovative consensus method called PoSV (Proof of Stake Voting) which gives an incentive to all TomoChain token-holders to play an active part in staking across a network of 150 high-quality masternodes, and to monitor their performance and governance actively. Its staking-governance dapp, TomoMaster, is recognized as one of the leading staking platforms in the industry.

TomoChain flagship products are:

  • TomoZ — Zero Friction Protocol — the first on-chain protocol that offers the ability for any user to pay transaction fees with the same token the user is holding
  • TomoX — a secure and efficient relayer-masternode decentralized cryptocurrency exchange protocol that empowers a diverse system of relayers, MM providers, and independent projects to work together
