TOMO releases a demo version of TomoWallet
1/1/2018, Tomo releases TomoWallet( Demo Version) on Website platform. You can use it for now at the address: https://wallet.tomocoin.io.
Tomo Network needs to build TomoWallet because your TMC do not just contain in Ethereum Blockchain but also in Tomochain.
While existing applications only allow you to manage individual wallets on the different blockchain. With TomoWallet, you can efficiently manage your wallet regardless of which blockchain your TMC is on. In this first version, TomoWallet allows you to use the five main features below:
- Reward Engine: This is a feature that helps you get a certain amount of TMC from the Tomo Network. With this rewards, you can experience other TomoWallet functions.
- TMC cash in/cash out: You can use TomoWallet to transfer TMC from Tomochain to TomoWallet via Smart Contract. Currently, you can Unload TMC for free. However, in reality, this will cost a fee. Charges will be used to pay the transaction fee on Ethereum, and part of the fee will be held for the community.
Note: due to the cash in/cash out TMC need to perform a part of this transaction on Ethereum blockchain, so the transaction time is relatively slow, you may have to wait from 30 seconds — 1 minute.
- TMC Receive/Transfer feature: TomoWallet allows you to transfer/receive TMC on Tomochain with zero transaction fee. The time for trading on Tomochain is just 2 seconds. So you will feel a lot faster than Ethereum.
- Transaction tracking: After performing transactions, TomoWallet allows you to check the transaction history on Etherscan.IO and TomoScan (https://explorer.tomocoin.io).
- QR Code integration: TomoWallet will have a version for Mobile soon. So, when using TomoWallet on the mobile platform, TMC will be delivered easy and secure with QR Code.
- TomoWallet still in the testing phase so consequently, the shortcomings are inevitable. Your feedback and suggestions will help us to improve Tomo in the future. We also send thanks to the team of engineers who worked very hard to make this first version.
NOTE:
Currently, TomoWallet is a trial version and works on Tomochain, Ethereum Testnet. So, do not use this address to store ETH on the Mainnet.
