Apparently Only Rich People Watch PBS

Raymond James ads on PBS

--

A man with gray hair is seated in a kitchen, resting his face on his hand with a thoughtful, slightly tired expression. He is wearing a black vest over a blue plaid shirt, with an Apple Watch visible on his wrist. The background shows wooden kitchen cabinets, a refrigerator with butterfly magnets, and a microwave.

We finally got around to watching Season 5 of All Creatures Great and Small on PBS last night. As is unfortunately typical of PBS and their ridiculous attempt at an interface, we were able to watch for only a few minutes and then got sent to a black screen. Several attempts to get back in were thwarted in the same way, so we gave up and watched another episode of The Brokenwood Mysteries instead.

But before we quit beating our heads against PBS, we were subjected to several ads for Raymond James Financial Advisors. If you don’t know who they are, a quick peek at their website will quickly inform you that most of the people reading this would not be qualified to be seeking services there.

“Life well planned” says it all, doesn’t it? If not, the ads would help you understand. You can find a number of them here:
