I applied to be a boost nominator because I come across amazing stories which I want to boost, like this one which I published last week. But “my publication isn’t a good fit for what they’re looking for right now.”

I’m not sad or mad, just that a rejection email isn’t going to set me off doing cartwheels now, is it?

So maybe I am a little sad. It doesn’t matter to me that they said that my publication wasn’t a good fit for what they’re looking for. They might as well have said that I don’t know how to read.
